Link Love Friday – Summer Edition

by Ryan on May 13, 2011

It’s been awhile since I’ve given some link love to my fellow blogging buddies, so today I’m gonna share some of my favorite articles from the past few weeks. I only have 4 more weeks of school and I honestly can’t wait until I’m done. I’m sick of most of my classes, I just want to relax for the summer and prepare for Italy.

I participated in the 308th Edition of the Carnival of Personal Finance: For the Love of Money Edition hosted by Yes I Am Cheap. Check my article and tons of others when you get a chance.

Credit vs Debit: Your Cards Don’t Have to Be Costly @ Five Cent Nickel – I hate the arrogant assumption that credit card use means you can’t actually afford it. Whether I hand over $100 in cash at the register or swipe my card and send Chase the money 30 days later – I’m paying the same amount.

Ally Bank Investigates Buying ING Direct @ Smart On Money – I love me some ING Direct, so I hope Ally continues or improves their way of doing business.

Simple Steps for Cutting Your iPhone Bill @ Money Spruce – I can’t believe that just 4 years ago, a brand new iPhone cost $500. $500! The models back then didn’t even have 3G or a nice camera. Now you can get all that for around $99 if you buy refurbished. I love how technology keeps gettin’ better!

8 Things to Do in College Before Your Graduate @ Money Crashers – My #1 tip would this: CARE. I know tons of people who have no idea what classes are even required for their major. That’s not smart.
