This is the last Friday I have to myself before school starts back up on Monday. Not thrilled about getting up so early this quarter, but I think a routine will be good for me.
I’ve been a bad blogger lately and haven’t spread any link love to all the other awesome blogs and personal finance sites out there.
First, I need to mention the Carnival of Personal Finance. I should have linked back like a week ago but time got away from me I was lazy. Financial Highway hosted the 288th Carnival of Personal Finance. Go check out some of the many great posts.
Now, on to my favorite posts from the last few weeks or so.
Don’t You Want to Retire ASAP? – Yes and no. I have yet to work a “real” job, so I’m not sure how much I’ll enjoy waking up everyday to go in to the office. If I like it, then I won’t be in much of a hurry. I just want to get to the point where working is optional. That to me is retirement.
I Got Fired – J. Money got fired from his day job, but he’s kickin’ it self-employed now. Love seeing stories where people end up doing something they’ve been wanting to do for a while.
Social Security Ain’t No Breast Milk – If the title alone is making you say WTF, wait until you see the picture.
The Pros and Cons of Banking Online – I’ve never had any problems with banking online and it’s how I handle 99% of my checking, savings, investing, and credit accounts.
There ya go! Have a great New Year’s!
